BA KI ROSAI had organised by HSS:

20th June 2021 13th Day "BA KI ROSAI" of Harijan Sevak Sangh founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1932 and National Youth Project (NYP) an unique program during the Pandemic COVID 19 period, provided Meals to large number deserving people in and around Kingsway, Dhaka Gaon and adjacent area from 8th June 2021.Today our Tribute to Veteran Sarvodaya leader and prominent Social Activist late Prashant Mohanty (24th August,1941-6th Dec 1993).

He was born at Khansapal, Mayurbhanj of Odisha.

He was inspired by Sant Vinoba Bhave and joined Bhoodan and Gramdan movement in the year 1956. He did spectacular activities in the field of Gandhian and Sarvoday field.

Vinobaji came to Mayurbhanj and his cordial invitation 2nd Zilladan was held under his leadership in 1969. He worked for the upliftment of downtrodden and poor farmers of the State of Odisha.

He was the Chairman of Odisha Bhoodan Yanga Samiti for many years and Odisha Khet Mazdoor Parishad, a vibrant organization in that time.

He was ardent follower of Didi Nirmala Deshpande.

Prashant Bhaiji was the President of Harijan Sevak Sangh Odisha State Branch and also Executive Body Member and Secretary (1988 to 1991) of Harijan Sevak Sangh, Delhi.

He was also General Secretary of Akhil Bharat Rachanatmak Samaj founded by Didi Nirmala Deshpande.

He was very good organizer and was well connected with many eminent Gandhian and Political personalities.
